Visitors and new members are welcome so please stop by the Arts and Crafts Center and check out the display case and TV monitor displaying what our members have created. You may take a tour of the wood shop and/or sign up for the new member orientation.  Information on how to join the club is available on this site under ABOUT > HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER.

The club membership participates in the SCF EXPO - craft fair where members may sell their work.

Club History

Established in 2008 by a small group of passionate woodworkers, under the Stewardship of Ken Zimmerman, the Club would meet in a community room at the SCF Sage Center. In 2011 the Arts and Craft Center was commissioned in the Wagner complex which included the current home of the wood shop.

Club Culture

The WoodCrafters is both a craft club and a social club, where members of all skill levels meet to work on their projects, build relationships and learn new wood crafting skills.  As members become more involved and spend time on the shop floor, they build a growing sense of community and shared responsibility.  In addition to working on individual projects, Club Members are asked to participate in club activities, volunteer on committees and projects that benefit the greater community.
