How to Become a Member

Becoming a SCF WoodCrafters Club Member

All residents "in good standing" of SCF are eligible to join the WoodCrafters club.

Residents who would like to join must complete the following:

Complete the "New Member Application Package" which may be picked at the wood shop.
Fill in the requested information and attach a check for the one-time registration fees plus the prorated annual dues.
Bring the completed package and attached check to the wood shop where you will sign up for New Member Orientation and Core Machine Safety Training.

For safety reasons, completion of the New Member Orientation and Core Machine Safety Training classes are required before a new member can use the shop facilities:

New Member Orientation classes are currently being conducted on the 1st Monday of every month, 9:00 -10:00AM. You will register for the specific date and time when you drop off your completed new member application package.

Core Machine Safety Training classes are currently being conducted on the second Thursday of every month from 5:00 to 7:00PM. You will register for the specific date and time when you drop off your completed new member application package.

A one-time registration fee of $75 is required of all new members. Annual dues of $30 are required from all members but the first year’s dues are prorated for new members as follows: $30 if joining between January 1 and June 30 or $15 if joining between July 1 and December 31. Annual dues for renewing members are due by January 1st each year.
